There are also many large scale events happening in the city throughout the year such as the Harbour Regatta and Balloon Fiesta

Bristol can also celebrate it's music heritage with the yearly Ashton Court Music Festival, which showcase's the best local music. The festival, comprises of eight different performance areas and represents a wide variety of musical genres

The ledgendary Glastonbury Music Festival also takes place in the nearby countryside of Somerset
